The Whale Shark
If I were a shark scientist, I would want to study the largest fish in the world, the whale shark. I think that it is interesting that the largest fish in the world does not hunt for people or other sharks. I would want to know more about these large animals and would like to dive with them. I would prefer to be a scientist of whale sharks rather than hammerhead sharks.
I think that I would most like to experience how inquisitive whale sharks are. Some swimmers have been able to hitch a ride on a whale shark. Hammerhead sharks, on the other hand, are rarely seen by scuba divers, as they frighten easily. I wonder what makes whale sharks so brave and inquisitive.
Whale sharks are as big as some whales, yet they eat plankton, which is tiny. I would like to find out more about the diet of the whale shark.
